NUTRITION.
We focus on a balanced approach to nutrition with qualified nutritionists on staff focusing on not only your macronutrients and energy requirements as well as micronutrient balance, gut health, hormones and much more than your average boring meal plan. We focus alot on the POST and PRE comp pre nutrition with reverse dieting & off season coaching. Assuring no blow outs and healthy relationships with food for our clients and there bodies post show.
TRAINING.
Training for us is about science based research and what works for the specific client. We dont hand out generalised plans, every single training program is customised to the individuals biomechanics, goals, training abilities/injuries, physique and division. We focus on our athletes being not only aesthetically on point but also strong & injury free or safe. In terms of cardio we focus on expending energy through resistance training and keeping it to the bare minimum to get the best results.
MINDSET.
We focus alot on the psychological aspects of prep as well as physiological. Mindset, motivation, relationship with your food and body and self control are huge aspects of prep and also post comp. We aim to also assist our clients with things holding them back in getting results which may be from habit change to goal setting, to stress factors in there life or even poor sleep and lifestyle factors affecting there prep. We aim to have regular phone calls & client meetings to stay up to date as well as weekly check ins.

"I started working with Alice at the start of this year. I had finished prep for a comp in October the previous year and although my reverse had started off OK, it took a turn for the worst and by January I had put on about 10kg. I'm only 150cm therefore that was a lot of weight and I was miserable! For 2 years previously I had followed a 'clean eating' plan which worked for me initially, however when it came to off season, because the food didn't really change that much I felt limited and bored which then turned to binges, guilt and desperate calorie cuts to make up for the binges. I was stuck in a vicious circle!!

I have to admit at first when I saw the calories and training that Alice wanted to start me on, I panicked!! Haha!! I was in a desperate bid to lose weight so I was on about 1300 calories, fasted cardio everyday and just miserable. So you can imagine when I saw the cardio cut and increased calories it was scary. However I trusted Alice's knowledge and experience and I knew that I had to get my hormones and metabolism back on a healthy track. With flexible prep I was able to be sociable but still remain on track whilst loving the new and challenging training program. Changes started happening!! 

Mentally and physically. Alice was honest and realistic and rather than rushing to get back into prep we made some decisions and set plans and goals. I couldn't be more grateful to her for taking the time to get my body and mind on a healthy, happy level before we got back into a prep. Flexible nutrition has really changed my life and helped with the anxiety around food and social situations. My goal for the latest comp was to feel the best I have on stage! Despite not placing I achieved that goal after the 1st moment that I stepped off stage and Alice showed me a picture of myself! That set me up for the rest of the show and I just enjoyed it! Having Alice, Sean and the girls from the team was amazing and everyone just made the whole experience so much fun! I can't wait to continue working with Alice to help bring more flexibility into my training and nutrition and see what I can do next year! Thank you Coach, you are bloody fantastic! "How do you possibly thank someone who has literally changed your life? I first started training with Alice around 3 years ago. I had been “going it alone” in the gym for about 6 months and had a little success, dropped some body fat and my shape was changing, but I felt like I had hit a plateau and didn’t know where to go from there. 

Alice introduced to the concept of flexible dieting  and I can proudly say that I no longer suffer from any form of food anxiety or disordered eating habits. I now eat according to my goals and don’t view food as “good” or “bad” or the awful buzzword “clean” or “dirty”.  After a 16 week prep, with very little cardio and never dropping my calories below 1200cals I finally hit the stage and absolutely loved every minute. 

With Alice’s long term approach to goal setting, as soon as I was off that stage, we were already talking about where I wanted to go next. She never once pushed me to do another comp and supported my goal of another show in a years time . Along with that, we set strength goals for what I wanted to improve on in the gym as well as aesthetic goals to grow overall muscle and develop more shape. This immediately transformed my attention from comp, back into performance and THIS goal setting mentality is 100% what stopped me from getting the post comp blues. Such a simple thing, yet something that is forgotten by a LOT of other coaches. We got straight into a reverse diet and pushed my calories up slowly week by week. Within 8 weeks, I had already hit my strength goals I had planned for the off season so it was time to raise the bar. This is when we bought in a proper undulating periodization program and I managed to go from squatting/chest pressing just the bar and not being able to deadlift properly at all when I started, to 90kg squat, 50kg chest press and deadlift 110kg.  

In my second show I ended up placing first in the Bikini Novice Tall at the Omara Classic and went on to place fourth in my first national show at the Arnold Classic the following week.  I have also hit a 100kg squat in my off season! 

I can honestly say, none of this would have been possible without Alice being there every step of the way, pushing me, guiding me and cheering me on like a proud stage mum. Alice has an infectious passion for everything that she does which transfers to all of her clients. Her truthful, no bullshit attitude produces results and not excuses. She leads by example and teaches clients how to get results for themselves rather than having to rely on the next “food plan” to come through or the next fad diet/miracle pill to hit the shelves. She teaches that perceived “perfection” is not something to strive for and balance and health are the most important things overall. I have learnt so much from Alice and wouldn’t even know where to begin in saying thank you. I am so proud to be part of the team and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Alice to help to change your life too.

"Before I found alice I was a typical dieter, i was your 'all or nothing' and your 'screw it iv mucked up today may as well make the most of it and devour everything in the house' i wasn't obese but i wasn't happy with the way i looked or felt.

I would scour the internet and find the latest diet craze - stick with it for a week or two and get great results then i would convince myself i deserved a day off, that day would turn into a weekend/week/month and would gain back the weight so back on the net to find the next diet and repeat. 

Alice has tough me you can eat the foods you want and still be healthy. She has tought me there is an easier way to be healthy, and it doesn't have to be all or nothing, we are human and we make mistake, life isnt always perfect. I am now happy and confident with who i am and so happy i found this lovely lady. Alice round you are my body's saviour 

I competed in my first bikini comp in september 2017 and had an absolute blast, the whole process with alice was so easy and she kept me on track answering all those first timers questions she must have heard a million time before

I think i asked her every week 'will i be ready' but she would always come back with all the motivation and support to pick me back up and keep me focused.
